What is Nazarene Missions International (NMI)?

     NMI is the organizational representative of missions for the Church of the  Nazarene on the regional, district, and local levels.  It is the promotional, educational, program, and fund-raising arm of missions, and the organization that "provides the structure and spiritual dynamic for mobilizing the church in mission."

    The principal purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.

NMI Objectives:

    1.  To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization;
    2.  To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs;
    3.  To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church;
    4.  To raise funds for mission outreach.

NMI Missions Service:  Our Missions service is on each first Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m.  You don’t want to miss this service!  Exciting things are happening!  The program theme is always about Nazarene Mission endeavors (naturally!) and are always very interesting.  Our president and vice president find various surprising ways to present the programs.  So come expecting a blessing and to be enthused about missions.

Jesus Film Ministry:  One mission's ministry that our church enthusiastically supports in earnest is JESUS Film Harvest Partners (JFHP).  This is a ministry that partners with other Kingdom ministries to make Christ-like disciples in the nations.  The International Church of the Nazarene has partnered with Campus Crusade for Christ to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into every nation via this film medium.  Please read more by clicking here....

ENGAGE:  Engage is a magazine, a mission publication of the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene.  The magazine is a global gathering place for Nazarenes to celebrate and share with each other how God is involving them in His mission for the world.  Content in Engage is updated as we receive new contributions. We warmly welcome our readers to register as contributors and submit their own stories, personal essays, photo essays and other content related to their participation in mission.  We also invite readers to share these stories with friends, local churches, Sunday School classes, and mission gatherings, when crediting Engage magazine as your source.
