What is Nazarene Missions International (NMI)?

     NMI is the organizational representative of missions for the Church of the  Nazarene on the regional, district, and local levels.  It is the promotional, educational, program, and fund-raising arm of missions, and the organization that "provides the structure and spiritual dynamic for mobilizing the church in mission."

    The principal purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.

NMI Objectives:
 
    1.  To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization;
    2.  To inform people of the world's needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs;
    3.  To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church; 
    4.  To raise funds for mission outreach.

Crisis Care Kits:  We are collecting Crises Care Kits (CCKs) for delivery to the NMI Convention here at our church on July 11th, this year.  We would appreciate each church family to give at least two kits.  The supply quantities in the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries CCK warehouse have been almost depleted this past year, with the many tornadoes in the U.S, and earthquakes in various parts of our globe.  After collection at the NMI Convention, all kits will be transported by truck directly to the warehouse in Pennsylvania, saving the East Tennessee District shipping costs.  Please click here for instruction on how to to assemble your CCKs.  In Addition - PLEASE PLACE $2.00 IN EACH CCK YOU PREPARE FOR SHIPPING COST.  God bless you richly as you prepare and give these CCKs in Christian love.

NMI Missions Service:  Our Missions service is generally on each first Sunday of the month at 6:00 p.m., but from time-to-time, to not preclude other services and events, we may reschedule this service . You don’t want to miss this monthly service!  Exciting things are happening!  The program theme is always about Nazarene Mission endeavors (naturally!) and are always very interesting.  Our president and vice president find various surprising ways to present the programs.  So come expecting a blessing and to be enthused about missions.
