Event Details....
Working For Water: This is the Valentines for Jesus 2012 project that our children will be working on until February 12th. The money the children raise will go to build one well at a time for those unfortunate to have any source of water without having to travel up to six miles one way. Please give what you can as we help build these simple wells that can change the way a whole community functions.
Young At Heart Fellowship: The YAH will be sharing a Signature Supper on Friday the 10th, at 6:00 p.m. in the FLC Please see the Adult Ministry bulletin board for information and details. If you have any questions, please see Jackie Huggler or Joan Shaw.
Valentines Banguet: We invite you to come to our “Love and Faithfulness” Valentine banquet, February 12th at 6:00 p.m., in the FLC. You need to purchase your ticket by February 5th from Mary Barnes or Sharon Buckner. Cost is $8 each. The people and entertainment will be hilarious!
Men's Prayer Breakfast: The February men’s prayer breakfast will be at Shoney’s on Friday the 17th, at 9:00 a.m. Men of all ages are invited to experience the special fellowship that surfaces when men pray together. A sign-up sheet and more details are on the Adult Ministry bulletin board.
Secret Sisters: Ladies, if you are interested in becoming a secret sister for this year, 2012 to 2013, please fill out a form (they are at the welcome desk) and return it to Sue Keller or Michellia Barnwell as soon as possible. The deadline for signup is next Sunday, February 12th.
Caravan: Come join our Caravan group on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. You will have fun while earning badges. This childrens activity will go through May 2012, and is for children 4 years old thru 6th grade. All children in these age groups are invited to participate. Need Transportation? We are running the church van to provide transportation to and from Sunday School and Church. If you or someone you know needs a ride, please contact the church office by email or call 484-6026.
Information Sheets: If you have never filled out an information sheet or if you have information that has changed, such as; address, phone number, etc., please fill one out and drop in the basket on the welcome desk. These sheets are available at the welcome desk. Thank you for helping us keep our records up-to-date.
Bulletin Information: If you have any church-related information that needs to be put in a bulletin, please get it to the church office by Wednesday evening. Any community or personal information that you wish to announce can be put on the church information bulletin board in the Sanctuary hallway and can be provided to Gail Gunst by email or in person for inclusion on this Church Web site. Keep a close watch at the bulletin board and on the Web site for personal announcements and updates on community projects and events.
Phone Tree System: The Church has purchased and implemented this system as a tool to provide better communications to our church family. This system is set up to call all who want to be informed about church-related events, such as worship service cancellations or rescheduling, illness or death of church family members, births, prayer chain, or any other important church information. To ensure this system functions to its fullest potential, we need to know who wants to be called with this information and the telephone number you want the system to use to contact you. Please call the church office or email them with your name and telephone number. If you cannot be reached but have voicemail, the system will leave the message for you.
Your Personal Church Email Address: With a church email address you don’t have to drop your old email or get a new one each time you change your Internet provider. With a church email address you can use webmail to read & send emails or you can set up your current email client on your computer (i.e., Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird, Eudora, etc.) to read and send your messages. Your email address will be set up as yourtext@crossville1stnaz.org, where yourtext is any identity you choose. Your initial password will be generic, but you can change it online once your email account is set up.
