NMI Mission Moments:
NMI Global has asked that we remember our “Nazarene Family” in Haiti, as well as the people of Haiti. The nation is in turmoil and needs God’s touch and help.
The Missions Emphasis for April is…‘”Mission Education”, Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the organization for mobilizing the local church in missions in the Church of the Nazarene and the denomination’s representative for missions on the district and in the local church.
What is Nazarene Missions International (NMI)?
NMI is the organization representing missions for the Global Church of the Nazarene on the regional, district, and local levels. It is the promotional, educational, program, and fund-raising arm of Global missions, and the organization that “provides the structure and spiritual dynamic for mobilizing the church in mission.”
The principal purpose of NMI is to mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.
NMI Objectives:
1. To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization;
2. To inform people of the world’s needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs;
3. To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church;
4. To raise funds for mission outreach.
Jesus Film Ministry: One mission’s ministry that our church enthusiastically supports in earnest is JESUS Film Harvest Partners (JFHP). This is a ministry that partners with other Kingdom ministries to make Christ-like disciples in the nations. The Global Church of the Nazarene has partnered with Campus Crusade for Christ to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ into every nation via this film medium. Please read more by clicking here…
